THRILL
ADVENTURES
The Annapurna Circuit has long been considered one of the world’s great trek. Like all the best journeys, the trek reveal itself gradually, as it climbs through sub-tropical jungle to a Tibetan-influenced valley and then over the high Thorong La to the Kali Gandaki Valley, a desert-like Trans-Himalayan region that was once a vital trade corridor for Tibet.
The real appeal of this trek lies in its variety. The trail wind through rice paddies and climbs through the deep gorge of the Marsyangdi, before swinging west into the arid Manang region, with its awesome views of north side of the Annapurnas. The cultural mix takes in Gurung, Manangi and Thakali communities and their traditional stone-walled villages, Tibetan-style monasteries and animist totems.
